My hopes and wishes for 2008 :]

My genuine hopes and wishes for the year 2008 are quite simple =] .This may sound boring and "lame" but first and MOST IMPORTANTLY and is everyones hope, i would really want to do well this year , as as i have said in my previous entry, this year is a really important year.I would also hope to manage my time better so that i can be more efficient and would also have more time for myself and to do the things i want.Besides this, I also hope that less tragedies would also happen this year as many innocent lives are being taken in these, especially bombings.These things can be kind of freaky.For example, at the starting of this year there was a bombing somewhere in the world(true but i don't want to name it as it might cause me a lot of trouble =] ha ha,paranoid:but anyway... )I read a special report on that incident the next day and it was written by this reporter who had happened to be there during the bombing.He said that after the bombing he was lucky to have survived and went around taking photographs of the scene which was mostly filled with debris.But after taking a few steps, he saw this huge piece of fresh meat ,red and bloody , like the meat you buy at the market he then took a look and found that it was actually the bomber's head.After reading this, I felt very disgusted and i certainly hope that such things would not happen.Also , I hope that i would also get more presents such as clothes , phones , whatever. =]

My Holidays.

Last year, after the year end examinations ,it was the beginning of the long holidays which lasted almost two months.At that time, i was really looking forward to going for a holiday.As my parents had not booked any tours earlier and we were too busy to even think about it, we studied the classified section of the newspapers everyday hoping to find the perfect holiday.Finally , we settled down on a tour of Europe to places such as Prague, Slovakia, The Czech Republic and Hungary etc.We went to the travelling agency to check it out and while queueing up, we read the itinerary and it was really interesting =] but unfortunately, it was fully booked( I was cursing and swearing in my heart as I was really disappointed as I really looked forward to it !$#^%$) .We had booked too last minute.We thought that since we might not be able to make it this year we could go in 2008.We then started searching for alternative tours to different places ( very desperate then =] ) but none were suitable.We went to many travel agencies but none had the tours we wanted. Though we could not make it this time round, it was quite a blessing in disguise as I went out with my clique (primary school =] ) almost everyday and spent much more time with each other we also had tons of great fun.We went to watch movies eat, shop and practically everything under the sun. and I really cherish enjoy the times that we were together during that period of time =] .Just before Christmas , my mum's friend called to ask us if were interested to follow her to Malaysia as she really knew the place well. We agreed and took a bus in as it was more convenient than driving as we would still need to find parking lots.Once we were across the causeway, a gargantuan building greeted us and my mum's friend told us that this was a shopping centre.From the outside, it sure did not look like one but when we went in , we were amazed by the size of it and we spent the whole day walking there.The mall sold nothing but food , clothes and trendy apparel . Me & my brother went into almost every shop in sight and bought lots of things such as shoes and shirts.That day, we could not finish walking the shopping centre and decided to come another day. After dinner we took a bus and went home.The shopping trip was REALLY great and words could not express how much fun i had =] .

School for the Past 3 Weeks

Hey!
School has started for about three weeks already.And this year, although my form teachers are the same many other subject teachers are different and most of them are really nice.Good thing that they adapt really quickly to our "colourful" class( not only means people of different races and religion, but a class which is full of character.Ha ha =] ).I think that these teachers have been really patient with us and a lot of our nonsense =] .Life so far in 2008 has been really great fun but it has also gotten busier, much busier that i hardly have anytime for myself.Workload is now heavier than me =] and so many deadlines to meet and remember, i rather remember my own birthday =]. This year is a really crucial one as it is going to determine what kind of class i am going to go,whether one which is really unfocused and too playful or one that has a really conducive environment to study and drive to improve & mug for the exams.i would also hope to get into the subject combination of my choice,triple science .My chemistry is really terrible as i was not consistent on my chemistry last year and one mistake lead to another.This years chemistry though, is quite similar to last years i really must pull up my socks and continue to study hard for this subject and who knows, i might actually do really well in that subject.This is only the starting of the year so i am quite sure that i have sufficient time to catch up.(PLEASE MARK)
